About Grant Rolston Photography Ltd.
How It Started...
Grant Rolston Photography originated in 2002. Since then, Grant has crossed Canada taking photos at premier livestock shows, cattle and rodeo events. The bulk of the year is spent traveling to on-farm visits picturing herd bulls, donor cows and sale cattle for customers.
GRP Evolves...
In January of 2009, Craig Scott was welcomed as a partner into the newly incorporated Grant Rolston Photography Ltd. (or GRP for short). This business partnership is a direct response of the growing demand for our photographic services. Together Grant and Craig look forward to continue taking top quality livestock photos for you.

Grant Rolston
Grant was born and raised on a commercial cattle ranch in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. He was active in 4H both as a member and a leader for many years. Grant worked with purebred cattle starting in the late 70's, exhibiting cattle at several major livestock shows during that time. Up until the spring of 2002, Grant maintained his own small herd of purebred cattle.
Grant's photography interest started as a hobby when he was a teenager. Formal training as a photographer was taken while with the Edmonton Police Department, then later by attending the Browarny School of Livestock Photography and working with them for two years. The experiences enabled Grant to pursue a livestock photography career independently.
Craig Scott
Craig was contracted to work with us for Agribition 2007 and again in 2008. His talent as a photographer, calm demeanor around livestock and natural repoire with our customers not only impressed us, but also inspired us to invite Craig as a full-time partner in January 2009.
Craig resides in Olds, Alberta with his wife Cathy, son Braden and they are expecting their second child in August 2010.
